1) Valea Bogatii forrest
It is a geological reservation in Persani Mountains between Hoghiz and Maierus on 17 km.
It is formed especially from beech and has a rich fauna being in the same time a hunting field with a special statute as reservation. It owns an important number of animals, hunting chalets and natural springs.
60% from this huge forest is public domain and the rest of it is private domain.
Through the forest pass a valley named "Valea Bogatii" (Bogata Valley) and the national road DN13 on 25 km..

3) The Dopca gorge
It can be find outside the Dopca village on 10-km length. The gorge represents a geological, landscape and wood reservation.
Through the huge forests pass Runcu Valley, Hell Valley (Valea Iadului) that reunite them in Big Valley (Valea Mare). On this valley we can find the drinkable water Storage Lake that provides drinking water for Rupea City, Homorod town and Dopca and Bogata villages.
