Hoghiz reformat church


 
Bethlen Kata built it in 1749.
The village name is mentioned in 1235 in a Pope document (Coriolan Suciu) a testimony that the village was catholic.
In the XVI century, during the Catholic Church reform the village took the extreme form so all the inhabitants including the priest and the teachers became Unitarian.
In 1722 when Bethlen Kata moved to Hoghiz the village became Calvin church.
